This is the view from Artesa winery. It's a tourist trap with average product, but the views almost make you forget about the couple from Alabama next to you. "I prefer MER-loh; my husband only likes wines that are light 'n sweet."
Glen Park is a glorious neighborhood. It's only about two blocks long, but it has exactly one of everything you might need, and has it in quality.
Great pizza? Check. Great bistro? Check. Great grocery? Check. Eggettes? Um, check.
Great coffee? Helllllls yeah. Cafe Bello on Diamond makes a latte with love.
The SF Giants blow. For all the Barry Bonds hysteria, the team is old, boring, and punchless.
But going to a night game at Phone Company Park always kicks ass.

My dear, departed grandfather told me years ago: "There's only one reason to have children, really. It's so that perhaps someday they'll give you grandchildren."
